In the near future, you will have the option of using a Twitter and/or Facebook avatar in addition to Gravatar.
Q: How do I retrieve my password?
A: Everythign is connected to your email address. To reset a password you will need to visit the password reset page: http://www.tomatouniversity.com/reset_password and we will send a link to your email to reset your password.
Q: How do I change my username?
A: Only TU administrators can change your username. Submit a request through our contact page and we will change it asap.
Q: Why can't I find myself on the Member Map? http://www.tomatouniversity.com/members
A: Only users that have added a physical address in their profile will appear on the map.

Q: I have attended the VREBC events in the past, but can't seem to log in, what gives?
A: Something is off, whether you are using the wrong email or username. We can look it up for you... but in most cases it is just better to go ahead and register anew using the email that is not being recognized as 'in use' in the system.
Class Info
Q: I paid for a class but I haven't received information on how to log in to the live webinar, what to do?
A: No sooner than (1) one-hour before schedule class time, the professor will send registered students their personal login information, via email. This email will include access codes, call-in numbers and webinar access links. This information is unique to each student and it is a violation of our policies to share it.
If you have not received your login information, and it is less than 30 minutes before scheduled class time, please contact us (http://www.tomatouniversity.com/members/contact) immediately and we will resolve the situation asap.
Q: Help! I can't access a webinar, can you help?
A: We use GoToWebinar for our live webinars. GoToWebinar is owned by Citrix, not Real Estate Tomato. Therefore, if you are having trouble accessing the webinars whether it be a software or audio issue, please contact GoToWebinar directly:GoToWebinar: 1-800-263-6317 (U.S. and Canada, toll free). GoToWebinar: 1-805-617-7000 (direct dial)

You can also visit their website's FAQ's page to troubleshoot your challenge. http://www.gotomeeting.com/fec/webinar/webinar_support
I wish we could be of more help, but we are not in control of the GoToWebinar technology.
We are not responsible for technical difficulties you may experience with GoToWebinar should you have compatibility issues, technology challenges, internet outages or other hiccups that cause you to not attend a class in full.
Most technical issues with GoToWebinar are resolved by first logging out of the webinar and logging back in. If that doesn't help, try restarting your computer and logging in from scratch again.
Although Tomato University is not responsible for missed content due to technical difficulties experienced with GoToWebinar, you are bound to get special attention from your professor if you explain that you missed part of a class due to rebooting.
Q: Are the classes recorded?
A: During the Beta Phase of Tomato University we are not offering any playback of the classes offered on our schedule.
We are however working on developing an archive of downloadable content for members to access.
This archive will include, but not be limited to, past Virtual BarCamp (VREBC) sessions, Real Estate Tomato tutorials, Member uploaded tutorials and recordings of Tomato University classes. It is unlikely however, that classes that are live on the schedule will ever be available for download at the same time. Our goal is to always offer fresh and relevant content in our live classes, giving the professors the best opportunity to have a large live audience. Offering their expertise for download at the same time as they have live classes on the schedule would undermine this goal.
Q: Why are you charging for classes, VREBC was free?
A: It takes an enormous investment of financing, planning, communicating, coding, designing, editing, managing, servicing, question answering, promoting and participating to put this environment together for everyone.
We have done a ton of market research and have found a price point that we believe is fair in exchange for an opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry. Ultimately the market value will be shaped by your participation in our offerings. And, in an effort to constantly raise the level of value of our program, we will strive to push our training and social environment beyond your expectations. Our goal is for you to recognize that the small amount you might end up spending on each class turns out to be the best money you've ever invested in improving your business.
Q: What is going to happen to the free events, the Virtual BarCamp (VREBC)?
We are going to continue to offer a free, quartely Mega Event. Our format will continue to be a one-day learning extravaganza. There will be new speakers, new topics and new surprises at each event, helping us grow our reach, reputation and relevance. Stay tuned to our email announcements of our next quarterly event.
Schedule Info
Q: Is there a downloadable or printable schedule of all the upcoming classes?
A: Coming soon.
Q: In what time zone are the classes?
A: We are working to have all the class times display in your specific time zone based on your registered address. However, the times are listed on the right side of each class details page.
Professor Info
Q: I want to teach... what do I have to do to get on the roster?
A: During the Beta Phase (Apr-May) we will not be adding any more classes or professors to the roster. We need to work out any bugs and challenges to the system with the team that we have.
But... we will be growing our roster very soon! Our goal is to offer 3 or 4 classes a day, every day, and have as many as 50 active professors at a time. We expect a lot of turn-over in topic and roster. The goal is to offer what our audience is hungry for. If you think you have what it takes to get the attention of our audience, by all means, step up to the plate. If your class is being ignored, we'll be forced to drop it from future schedules.
To submit a class for consideration, please contact us with the following information:
- Topic and Title.
- Bulleted overview
- Hand out to accompany class
- Slides of class presentation (if available).

A: First of all please note that we will never sell (nor provide) your contact information to any third party. We detest spam and will not stand for any maliciouis use of your personal info. This includes the conduct of our professors. In most cases, our professors will have access to the email addresses of the students that attended their specific classes (that's how they send out the class login info and class notes). If it is brought to our attnetion that any professor has misused their access to your email address, we will take appropriate action.
