About Me:

I am a social media enthusiast, with 15 years of real estate experience. My passion is for training Realtors on how to best apply technology and social media to their business. I am Founder/Chief Blogger of <a href="http://www.agentapplause.com">AgentApplause.com</a>, which showcases great examples of modern real estate marketing and Principal of <a href="http://www.harmonenterprises.com">Harmon Enterprises</a>, a consultancy focused on digital marketing strategies for the real estate industry.

How long have you been in the Real Estate industry?

I started in the residential real estate industry in 1995 and have been in ever since. I have mostly worked on the brokerage side of the business. I originally started in the marketing department of a boutique brokerage in Newport Beach, California. I have held many roles since then including the Director of IT for Strada Properties, a member of the Executive Management team for Coldwell Banker Orange County, and 3 years as a working Realtor. I maintain an active license but no longer sell. My jobs have always included a training element to them as I enjoy taking complex or new ideas and translating them into something that real estate agents can understand and apply to their business.

What got you into Real Estate?

I needed a job out of college. Totally fell into real estate.

What is your favorite thing about your chosen career?

Watching agents that I train have that light bulb moment where they see and understand the value of a given technology and how they can apply it to their business.
